My dad lived a very long adventurous life. He wasn't one to sit still and let the grass grow under his feet. He tried out several careers and I believe enjoyed each one as he was doing it. Then he retired and enjoyed the most beautiful piece of property down on the Arrow Lakes.
He was blessed with a wife that stood by his side through thick and thin for over 70 years. I totally believe they are together right now.
He had the fortune of spending the last 8 1/2 years with two people who brought him into their home, Marion and Willy, and gave him what his hearts desire was to do one more time in his life , And that was live on the prairies and be around horses and have dogs around him. He was treated to daily fantastic meals by Willy and Marion had him doing all kinds of interesting things to keep that adventurous spirit of his satisfied.
His grandchildren will miss him and the fun things that they used to do with him and grandma on the land.
