Dear Val, I always enjoyed my visits with your folks and I loved the fact that your Dad wasn't ashamed to show his emotions. A wonderful, strong man. But one memory: Delmer was one of my "go to" people when anything went wrong at the manse, especially after Bill got sick. One phone call was all it took ... Delmer was on the job ... and you KNOW things were done right. By the way, love the picture. Blessings.

Delmer means to me a very humble , caring ,loving person . He genuinely loved family and friends and #1 skidoo hill. I will remember skidoing many times with him and enjoyed his company whenever we were together. The world has lost a hero in my eyes!

So sorry for your loss Val, Leon and family. I remember your Dad as always being pleasant even putting up with practical jokes when your Mom played with the Tune Toppers. He always supported her and Leah and was so proud of your family. We will all miss this great community supporter and his quiet ways. Maybe the Canadiens will do better with him cheering from above. Karry and Donna Bengtson My memory of Delmar is when I joined the farming community Delmar was the best neighbour. He always wanted to go (ski doing)back in the day. Spent many hours with your Mom and Dad. In the later years when he moved to town would always ask about how farming was going. Stand up kind of man. One I will miss him at the Drop In for coffee and at our dinners for sure. Rest easy Delmar.
