Cousin Jim will always be remembered as an embodiment of the best qualities that an individual can possibly achieve! Forever thinking of and caring for others, he continues to be thought of in the highest regard by his relatives and friends. Jim kept the Watson family history alive and well always adding information, photos and anecdotes. Working with him on the Victory Quilt brought forth new family connections that will be forever treasured. Much love and memories.

On behalf of the Edgerton & District Historical Society, I wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to you, Judy and to your family.
We are grateful to you and Jim for all your contributions to the Edgerton Museum. Years ago, Jim donated his father's army uniform, coat and several other items to make sure they were displayed for all to see. He was passionate about preserving the history of Edgerton, researching the various businesses, the Legion and the Victory Quilt.
Jim was proud of the Victory Quilt, made by his aunt and displayed at our museum during the summer events. He was so excited to see photos we had on display - he was able to put a name to all the faces! He was like a kid in a candy shop!
We will miss Jim and all the help he gave us. We share your loss.

Judy, Tracy Kari, Jim and families; my sincere condolences. I remember running for parts to Mel's Motors for our Massey Combine for many years, often well after closing time and Jim was always there with a smile on and seldom did he not have what we needed. I also have a picture of the Comet Hockey team he gave me over 11 years ago from 1973. He is in the picture and he said that was the year of the "kid line" on the team which Tom was part of so he thought I should have it. That's the kind of husband/father/friend he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
