Thoughts and prayers and with the family and friends during this difficult time. I have been bringing my pup there for just over two years now. Bryon was always very friendly, helpful and always up for a brief visit. I had mentioned to him once while waiting for my pup to get groomed that I had been joking with my husband about getting the cute genuine pig he had in the store. My husband was less than impressed with the idea of bringing a large rodent into our home. Bryon laughed then said he’d be right back and left the room. He returned with a small box folded up with two handles and holes in the top for air. He then handed it to me and said here, now you can play a little trick on him. And boy did I ever!! My husband jumped when I returned to the car with the “empty box”. Haha!! I will truly miss his sense of humour and friendly conversation at wags and wiggles.

Tina and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed the many conversations that I had with Brian in the pet store business and industry. We spoke quite a lot usually when picking up fish in a parking lot in Edmonton. Brian was a good man and always talked about his family, friends and community. This is a sad time for everyone who knew Brian. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Thoughts and prayers to all Bryon's family. It has been a long time since we were in Cyprus and Germany. There is no profound statement that can be made other than he was too young and he will be missed.

Wainwright lost an incredibly dear man. Someone who always brought a smile to every customer who entered his pet shop and a wealth of knowledge and experience. Bryon genuinely cared for each and every plant and critter he sold, always sure to check in on how things were.
I had the priveledge of meeting Bryon, 4 years ago after I adopted my pup Gemma and picked her up at Bryon's store. From the first 'hello', you could tell he had such a delight in his family, his business and the community. Over the years, I saw a man who took pride in Wainwright, his store, and his wonderful family. He always had a great story to tell and you always left his presence with a smile.
My heart hurts, not only as a citizen of this community who will forever miss his generosity, laughter, and kindness, but for such a loss of a vibrant spirit.
My utmost condolences to the entire Baker family, know that our community is mourning with you. Prayers and thoughts of strength during your time.
I hope our town will gather together on January 10th.

Oh Tina, Greg & Eric. I am so sorry to hear of Bryon leaving you so suddenly. I am totally in shock. I will never forget the day he brought Missy's litter to the base in Wainwright and I picked my Piper who Bryon named. Bryon praised the wonderful wife he had for her patience and strength for standing by him in all the trials of life which he endured gracefully. A hero and great soldier will not be forgotten. Thank you Bryon.. May you rest in peace! Jeannine & Piper
