Obituary of Lorna Grace Jackson

On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, Mrs. Lorna Jackson of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Viking Health Centre at the age of 85 years. Lorna is survived by her loving family; children, Noreen Jackson of Irma, Phyllis Jackson of Maidstone, Saskatchewan, Bob Jackson of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Charlie (Caroline) Jackson of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Howard (Janice) Jackson of Vermilion, Alberta; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Vivian (Keith) Firkus and Irene Lawrin; one brother, Garry (Ruth) Archibald; sister-in-law, Margaret Archibald; brother-in-law, Arthur Jackson. She was predeceased by her husband, Eddie; one granddaughter, Corinne Jackson; siblings, Lawrence Archibald, George Archibald, Jenenne McLeod, Colleen Moffat and Sonny Archibald. A funeral service for Lorna Jackson will be conducted on Saturday, February 3, 2018, 2:00p.m. at the Irma School Auditorium. Interment will follow in the Irma Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted, as Lorna loved flowers. Otherwise, if friends so desire, memorial donations would be gratefully accepted to Hayin' In The 30's or Viking Health Foundation - Palliative Care Room.
