To my Sister: It breaks my heart to lose you. God called you home. There is a place of comfort near to the heart of God. So glad for the visits to Edmonton when you lived in the senior home. There are the happy times in Irma, now I hold on to the many great times. I know how much you enjoyed those mangoes when you visited in Portland. Always enjoyed spending time with Aunty Kay. She treated me with a great deal of kindness. Just like the rest of her family they loved to cook. Dan and I are so sorry for the loss of Kay. Although I didn't know her I had to drop off Dan's mom, Granny Haugan. They visited every few weeks. I always thought it was a different friendship, but it was a true and long friendship where each of them knew the other so well they could say whatever they felt and nothing was taken personally. What a great friendship they had.
