Obituary of Violet Elaine Ford
Violet Elaine was born on Thursday, July 12th and from the moment of her birth
began to impact everyone around her. At birth her doctors advised that she would
likely live for 6 to 7 minutes but instead Violet proved to be a tiny fighter. She lived
and was loved for 67 hours. Violets body was fragile on the inside and beautiful on
the outside. Her life was a miracle without mistake. From the time she was born,
she was held by family and friends who were so anxious to meet her. She made her
family so proud. “Before you were formed in the womb I knew you. Before you
were born I set you apart.” Jeremiah 1:5.
Violet will always be loved and missed by her parents, Kent and Tanya Ford (Irma,
AB) and her big sister Felicity Elaine, by her grandparents Ken and Doris Ford
(Irma, AB) and Darrel and Grace Priebe (Herbert, SK), by her aunties and uncles,
cousins and friends, and everyone who knew her name. She is safe in the arms of
Jesus and her Grandma Judy whom she joined in Heaven.
You are invited to celebrate the gift of Violet on Monday, July 23rd at 12:00 pm at the
Avonglen Gospel Mission Church in Irma, AB.
Memorial donations would be gratefully accepted by the Royal Alexandra Hospital
Foundation with funds directed to the NICU in Violet Ford’s name.
