Virginia, Vivian and Families, my thoughts are with you all in the passing of your Mom/Grandma. I remember her as a wonderful lady, kind, caring and had a great sense of humour. My Mom asked her for her boiled raisin cookie recipe. She gave it to Mom written in French, knowing she couldn’t read it, then handed it to her again, written in English. I still have that recipe in her handwriting and it has been a family favourite. May your Mom/Grandma Rest In Peace with your Dad/Grandpa, now.

Dear Vivienne and Virginia,
Your dear, sweet Mom whom my family has always lovingly referred to as G’ma Esther will be forever missed.
What a wonderful lady. She made time for friends, family and strangers all the same.
Loved hearing her many stories, enjoyed passing them on as well. In fact, just the day that she was called home to God and her Lyle I was telling someone of her story about eating lobsters that had accidentally been caught in her Papa’s friend’s fishing net...they had to pull the curtains so that no neighbors would see they were eating lobster (poor mans food at the time)!
Hold fast to all your memories of her and know that you were all her favorites and her most prized possessions! Her face would light up when we spoke of any of you.
Rest In Peace dear Esther till we meet again!
Love Laurie, Bernie and boys

Dear Virgina, Vivienne, and Families: so sorry to hear about your Mom and Grandmother passing away. Your Mom/Grandmother was such a good friend to our Mom and oh how the two of them got up to lively business entertaining each other! One of the favourite memories is the ladies heading out to the golf course early in the morning to enjoy their new sport they decided to pursue in their 60ies. They shared many meals and scrabble games. Esther was one of a kind. Loved her zest for life and her humour. She always had a positive outlook and brought the best out in people. Bless her in eternal peace gone Home and to be with Lyle and all her loved ones who passed on before her. Thinking of you girls and families in this loss and know the void it creates. May you find comfort and peace with all your treasured memories and no doubt delicious recipes . Hugs! Shari & Allan
