Obituary of Laurie' Vivian Lorraine Sheets

On the morning of December 20, 2018, Mrs. Laurie Sheets passed away peacefully at Wainwright Long Term Care, Wainwright, AB at the age of 77 years. Laurie is loved and remembered by her family; husband, Gordon Sheets of Wainwright, AB ; her two children, Larry (Brenda) Sheets of Athabasca, AB and Cheryl (Allan) Faas of Wainwright, AB; four grandchildren, Coulton Sheets, Jordan Sheets, Jessica (Justin) Dance, and Kelley (Clint Poliakiwski) Faas; five great grandchildren, Quinn, Payson, Charlee, Logan, and Shelby; her siblings, Vern, Bill, Craig, Ev, Leeanne and Cindy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She is predeceased by her mother Alma; two brothers, Jackie and Bobby. A funeral service for the late Mrs. Laurie Sheets will be conducted on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from Creech's Funeral Chapel, Wainwright, AB. at 1:00 p.m., with reverend Anne McGrath presiding. If friends so desire, the family suggests any memorial contributions in Laurie's name be made to the MS Society or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
