Mrs. Bethune was and always my inspiration for staying in school. She always had time to talk and so much one on one. She convinced me to stay in school and she was the kindest most forgiving lady I have ever met. She will be missed but the memories will hold for all my brothers and sisters. I was also lucky to call Val one of my best freinds and would like to convey our condolences to the whole family. With love The Darling Family.

Wainwright has lost one of it's very special ladies and a favorite teacher of many students. I can remember everyone wanting to be in her class and when the lists were posted you were either so excited to be in her class or so very disappointed that you were not. She helped sculpt so many minds not only with knowledge but with love, honesty, compassion, and great morals that she instilled in each of her students. Proud to have had the opportunity to learn from such a wonderful lady! Not only was she my teacher but also the mother of a friend. Thinking of you and your family at this sad and difficult time, Shelley.

Arnie and I were colleagues and friends for many years at the WES. We continued our friendship when I moved to Stony Plain and visited regularly during the summer. She was such a terrific teacher and even a greater human being. She touched so many people with her kindness and understanding. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to visit with her recently at Morley Tizzard's funeral. Condolences to all her families at this sad time. She may be gone but will forever be in our thoughts.
Love, Annette.

Marilyn, Val, Colleen, Shelley and families:
Please accept our deepest condolences. Aunt Arnie was a very special person not only to us but virtually to everyone whose lives she touched. She had such an amazing talent in writing letters, Christmas cards and stories and will always remain in our hearts. She really enjoyed her garden, nature and the great outdoors. Her family(s) meant everything to her with all of the love, dignity and respect that she forever and tirelessly displayed. We love you all and she will always remain in our hearts. Rest in Peace Aunt Arnie.
