I fell in love with Uncle Vern the very first time I met him at our daughters baby shower. He is my husband, Brad Korstad’s, Uncle. Just two weeks ago we were talking about going to visit him and Aunty Helene this summer. Full of regrets for not seeing him for so long. Our sympathy and love to all of Uncle Vern’s family, especially Aunty Helene. So sorry for you all. He truly was a one of a kind special man. I’ll never forget him. Love Brad and Laurie Korstad.

Best friend in the world. Never judged anyone. Your smile and chuckle were infectious. We marveled at your and Helene's courage in driving down to Lethbridge to visit us and watch Stampede on TV.
