Obituary of Lloyd Edward Smale

On Saturday, August 10, 2019 Mr Lloyd Smale of Wainwright , Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Care at the age of 95 years. He was predeceased by his wife Frances in 2010, his parents Mabel and Percy Smale, his sister Gladys Ott, and his step daughter and son in law Terry & Lloyd Scherger. He is survived by Frans children Pat Gosselin in Campbell River, BC, Bill (Mary Anne) Waffle in Campbell River, BC, nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and ten great, great grandchildren. He also leaves his two sisters Jean Cook, Camrose and Joyce Ramsay, Australia as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes there will be no funeral or celebration of Life. Friends and family alike are encouraged to remember Lloyd in their own way. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital Patient Comfort Fund. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff of the Wainwright Hospital and Wainwright Auxilliary Care Centre for the care and compassion shown to Lloyd in his final days.
