Obituary of Franklin David Appel Sr.
On Friday, January 17, 2020 Mr. Frank Appel of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 74 years. Frank is survived by his children, Ken (Lori) Loker of Balgoni, Saskatchewan, Elizabeth (Russ) Brown of Edmonton, Alberta, Kevin Appel of Wainwright, Franklin Appel of Wainwright; two grandchildren, Chloe Loker and Carter Bitzer; sister-in-law, Shirley Appel; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty on April 27, 2019; grandson, Cody Loker; parents, Adam and Margaret Appel; sister, Sandy Appel; brother, Ted Appel. A private family gathering will take place at Creech’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Stollery Children’s Hospital or to STARS.
