Obituary of John Pelkey

On Sunday, January 19, 2020 Mr. John Pelkey of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 96 years. John is survived by his loving family; wife, Winn of Wainwright; children, Steve (Darlene Kindrat) Pelkey of Wainwright, Jeff (Josée Francoeu) Pelkey of Quesnel, British Columbia, Gloria Pelkey Kowalchuk; grandchildren, Christie April, Shawn Moore, Travis Pelkey, Shalene (Justin) Fetterley, Sherry Hrehorak; great grandchildren, Brooke, Racquelle, Lily, Cody, Cash, Seth, Blake, Adelynn, Sawyer; as well as his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Eugene and Edward; sisters, Freda and Marjorie. A funeral service for John will be conducted on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Royal Canadian Legion, Wainwright. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the local charity of the donors choice.
