Dear Bev, Bobbie, Keray and families I was saddened to hear of your loss. Rick was a unique and kind soul. He loved his family dearly and was always kind to me and interesting to visit. I remember babysitting Keray and Bobbe with Rick working in the back yard on his car stopping every now and again to check in on the kids whom he was so proud of. In the later years Rick would stop in and visiting me for a few minutes at the M.D. office still so proud of his family, still kind and still had his opinions to discuss (Donald mostly lol!). I think you and Larry will have a few races to catch up on. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Bonnie

Our deepest sympathy Bev and family,
Rick was truly one of a kind--from our teenage years throughout adult life. He kept life entertaining, quick witted with a sense of humour, helped define him. He had one speed-fast and straight ahead. We always enjoyed a visit wherever we met. He will be missed

Dear Bev, Keray, Bobbi and all the families.
We were so sorry to hear about Rick, he truly was a great guy who alway had time to talk but will miss most his drive by waves when you met him driving around town. I always said he was the toughest man in Wainwright, he would come to move our cat in 40 below and he would jump out of his prized truck in runners and a jean jacket and I ask him if he was cold and his answer was hell no.RIP Rick
Keeping you all in our thought and prayers Ken and Norma

We pass on our deepest sympathies to you, Bev and the Kids, and his Grandbabies. And to all of Ricks family. Rick definitely lived his life by his own set of rules! His quick wit, always a solution to most problems and his ability to make you laugh will definitely be missed. In our younger years Norm made many miles with this man. Crazy as he was, he would have done anything for anyone. Even later on when his breathing became so hard he made jokes that he had changed friends, his new best friend was by his side all the time. Oh Rick, you truly were unique. To you Bev, you have many stories to tell those Grandkids that Rick was beyond proud of. Cherish each one and the many memories you have! Rest easy now Rick, we will definitely miss you, your laughter and your stories. Until we meet again!

Bev and your kids, our condolences! Rick was one of a kind...tough,and soft at the same time, always a quick comment when he barely had any breath and oh so proud of all of you. Family and those grandkids!! How he liked to brag about them. So you’ll keep his memory alive with all the stories he’s left you with, cause they’ll need to hear them! So you three, so dedicated to Rick....get some rest, burn some rubber on his hot rod and celebrate a life well lived. For those of us with faith, we know Rick is at peace, for from earthly troubles...racing cars and breathing free. Blessings!
