Obituary of Harry Andersen

On Friday, June 19, 2020 Mr. Harry Andersen of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 85 years. Harry is survived by his loving wife, Marie of Wainwright; two children, Chris (Colleen) Andersen of Calgary, Alberta, Marilyn (Pat) Ponech of Edmonton, Alberta; four grandchildren, Kendyl (Adam) Wood of Calgary, Kelsey (Cameron) Taves of Kelowna, British Columbia, Mackenzie Ponech of Edmonton, Alberta, Randi Ponech of St. Albert, Alberta; two great grandchildren, Carsen Wood and Kayden Ponech; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Albert Andersen, Trena Gibson, Olaf Andersen, Thanning Andersen, Calvin Andersen, Olga Cameron, William Andersen, Harold Andersen, Ole Andersen. A private funeral service for Harry will be conducted on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at 1:30 PM from the Grace United Church, Wainwright with Pastors Wayne and Darleene Skinner officiating. Family and friends wishing to join in the service are invited to do so via the webcast link below the picture or under the photos and video tab above. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Hospital Foundation CT Scanner Project or to STARS.
