Obituary of Roxanne Phyllis Dunbar

On Thursday, June 25, 2020, Roxanne Dunbar of Irma, Alberta passed away suddenly at the Health Centre in Viking, Alberta at the age of 57 years. Roxanne is loved and remembered by her family; husband, Ian Dunbar of Irma, Alberta; her children, Kerie Green (Fraser Sunderland) of Cochrane, Alberta, Cody (Sarah) Dunbar of Edmonton, Alberta, Cori (Jared) Oracheski of Irma, Alberta; grandchildren, Caleb and Carter; brother, Rocky (Donna) Bischke of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; brothers-in-law, Bill (Charlene) Dunbar, Dean (Frances) Dunbar, sister-in-law, Bonnie Dunbar (Ed McGowan); as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and very dear friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Roy & Phyllis Bischke, and father and mother-in-law, John & Ann Dunbar. A funeral service for Roxanne will take place Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Grace United Church, Wainwright, Alberta at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, space is limited to first come, first serve seating. The service will also be streamed online for anyone to view from home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions made in Roxanne’s name to the Cross Cancer Institute and the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
