Our thoughts are with Phyllis's family and friends although we have not met. I am Ed Birnie's sister and had the joy of getting to know Phyllis through him. She was so much fun when visiting and chatting with over the phone. She made Ed's life fuller through dancing and activities and happier during their time together. When I saw Ed in January, 2020 he wanted to borrow my rental car to go pick up Phyllis and bring her home. We were shocked by her passing and send our thoughts and our hugs to all her family and friends. We will miss you Phyllis. Bev and Bill Wahl Calgary Alberta

John, Susan and family, So sorry for the loss of your Mom and Grandma. Doesn't seem real. I have so many good memories of your Mom. My first trip to the mountains was with her. Had lots of fun at dances with her. She will be so missed by your family. She was the BEST Grandma to your kids.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Phyllis at Wainwright, Family & Community Support Services. It has been clearly stated the vast difference between ordinary and “extra” ordinary, is the Extra.
