To Jean , Colleen, Michael, and families-- she was a treasure! I think my favorite story is one she told about smuggling crystal from Australia on her person! Probably wouldn't get away with it now ;) She was such a good friend and travel companion to Mom, especially after Dad died. I was so glad she was with Mom before she went, as neither Maureen or I got there in time. We enjoyed her immensely and wish loving thoughts and memories for you all. Muriel (Gunn) Bromby

Collen & Family,
Our deepest sympathy. Phyllis was one of a kind. She was my teacher in elementary school and later, as an adult, my friend. I was blessed to have known her.
I will be out of town on Saturday, but please know I will be thinking of her.
My thoughts are with you and your family, David & Gail Cawthorpe..

Mrs Craig was my grade 1 teacher and have always enjoyed seeing and visiting her at the lodge and points west. I always teased her it was my turn to go on a holiday with her. She was truly a grand lady.

To the family of Phyllis:
There are no words to adequately describe how one feels when they talk about the feeling of losing someone the likes of Phyllis really. It's like losing a best friend, mom, teacher, mentor, and keeper if all things sacred rolled into one. Phyllis taught me grade 4 and I was "one of the good ones" as I remember being called she was tough but fair as I recall wanting only what was best for us students. As I grew up my relationship changed we became friends and good ones at that. We both loved to travel so we could converse about that. But mostly I remember how much she loved her family. Also speaking so highly of you. So remember her warmly in your hearts and be thankful you had her so long 103 is a great age to live to. Even though we all wish for longer, she's where she wants to be now in Gods arms. She will live on forever more through all of you. Take care of each other God bless.
