Obituary of Wilfred James Boomhower

On Thursday, July 23, 2020 Mr. Wilfred Boomhower of Wainwright, Alberta passed away suddenly at his home at Points West Living at the age of 88 years. He survived by his loving family; three children, Winnie (John) Johnson of Amisk, Alberta, Darlene Levitt of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Brenda Boomhower of Calgary, Alberta; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Lillian Perkins of Wainwright, Lavina (Charlie) Redmond of Wainwright, Vivian (Duffy) Hogue of Lethbridge, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Carmen and Ida Boomhower; one son-in-law, Bill Levitt; one brother, Glenn Boomhower; one sister, Vera McLean; two brothers-in-law, John Perkins, Cameron McLean; sister-in-law, Lorraine Boomhower. A Graveside service for Wilfred will be conducted on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Edgerton Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hills of Peace Campground Cadogan, Alberta.
