Obituary of Paul Avila Touchette

On Tuesday, September 1, 2020, Mr. Paul Touchette passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 96 years. He is survived by his children, Lorraine (Roger) Pillman of Red Deer, Alberta, Leonard (Alana Wright) Touchette of Wainwright, Paulette (Calvin) Dorland of Wainwright, Jeannette (Joey) Shaban of Wainwright; ten grandchildren, Michelle Touchette, Michelle Herbert (Jim), Lorrie Danielson, Jackie Dorland (Tyler), Buffy (Bill) Plaxton, Nicole Murray (Pat), Amanda Touchette, Jason (Kellie) Dorland, Justin Shaban (Sara), Jolene (Chad) Miller; twenty-one great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; sisters in-law, Rita Bell, Yvette LaPalme; brother in-law, Roland LaPalme. He was predeceased by his wife, Therese in 2008; brothers, Adelard Touchette, Leonie Touchette, brothers in-law, Roger Leveille, John LaPalme, Dave Bell; sister in-law, Aline Leveille and great grandson Jessy. A private funeral mass for family and invited friends will take place, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Blessed Sacrament Church, Wainwright. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Wainwright Health Foundation CT Scanner Project.
