Obituary of Garry Charles Archibald

On Thursday, October 15, 2020 Mr. Garry Archibald of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 78 Years. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Ruth of Irma; two children, Sheldon (Shannon) Archibald of Irma, Shantelle (Riley) Audet of Red Deer, Alberta; seven grandchildren, Jacyn Archibald, Jacob Audet, Cayman Archibald, Landen Audet, Kealey Archibald, Kallyn Archibald, Tryten Archibald; his sister, Vivian (Keith) Firkus of Irma, Irene Lawrin of Chilliwack, British Columbia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Margaret Archibald of Wainwright, Sonny (Annette) Allen of Viking, Alberta, Doreen (Gary) Gares of Edmonton, Alberta, Joan Allen of Edmonton, Joe (Rhoda) Allen of Red Deer, Fay (Jerry) Hafso of Viking; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Grace Archibald; siblings, Sonny Archibald, Jenenne McLeod, Lorna Jackson, Colleen Moffatt, George Archibald, Lawrence Archibald; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Doris Allen brothers-in-law, Dick Allen, Lorne McLeod and Eddie Jackson; two nephews, Mark Firkus and Shayne Allen. A private family funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at 1:30 PM from Creech’s Funeral Chapel, Wainwright. Interment will follow in the Irma Cemetery.
