Obituary of John Doedel

On Sunday, December 13, 2020 Mr. John Doedel of Edmonton, Alberta and formerly of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at Capital Care Dickinsfield at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Tilly; three daughters, Connie (David) Faas of Wainwright, Alberta, MaryAnn (Ron) Tomlinson of Morinville, Alberta, Julie (John) Minchau of Gibbons, Alberta; nine grandchildren, Mark (Briana) Faas, Kevin (Uly) Faas, Jamie (Charlotte Morden) Faas, Andrew (Cassandra) Tomlinson, Orin Tomlinson, Kristopher (Alexandra) Tomlinson, Matthew (Samantha Rottier) Minchau, Jennifer (Taylor) Boudreau, Shaelynn Minchau; and eight great grandchildren. John was predeceased by three sons, Perry, Roy and Anthony. A private Funeral Mass will be conducted on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright. A celebration of life for family and friends will be announced at a later date, when it is safe for social gatherings.
