Dear Rod, Wendy, Vic, Angela and Colleen,
Please accept condolences for the loss of Douglas. We had been friends for over 55 years. During our childhood and into high school we shared many experiences together. These were further enhanced into adulthood, as we lived together while attending post secondary school - and continued the good times. Later on I was honoured to be best man at his wedding - and was happy to have met Angela and Colleen briefly when they were younger. I know that Douglas was very proud of both of you.
I did have a chance to reach out to him, although from far away, over the past one year to share a few memories, have a last laugh, a final argument over Habs vs Oilers, Liberals vs Conservatives etc. He will be missed very much, but am sure he is resting in peace.
