Obituary of Terry Turk

On Friday, June 11, 2021, Terry John Turk of Wainwright, Alberta, passed away surrounded by the people who loved, cared for, and looked after him in the Red Deer Regional hospital in the ICU at the age of 60 years after a 39 day fight with the UK variant of COVID-19. Terry leaves behind: 3 children: Jessie (Michaela Anderson) Turk, Spencer Turk and Katie Turk along with their mother Karen Patterson; his parents Bill and Karen Turk (Dodsland, Saskatchewan); his sister Shonda (Bob) Toner (Kelfield, Saskatchewan); his brother Cory (Dana) Turk (Dodsland, Saskatchewan); sister in law Wanda Turk (Wabasca, Alberta); 9 nieces and nephews and their families; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins and of course ALL the friends Terry met along the way! Terry was predeceased by his brother David Turk; his grandparents: Henry & Agnes Seime and David & Blanche Turk; and his in laws: Brad Patterson; Arlie Patterson; Sonny and Joy Patterson; and Lois Patterson (all of Irma, Alberta). A invitational festival honouring Terry will be held June 25-27. More details will follow A private family service will be conducted on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:00 AM from Creech's Funeral Chapel, Wainwright. This service will be posted to our website at 4:00 PM so that the family can watch the service with the festival attendees. If so desired, donations in memory of Terry Turk may be made to the Dodsland Arena or the charity of the donor’s choice.
