Obituary of Barbara Joan Higgins

On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, Mrs. Barbara Higgins of Wainwright, Alberta passed away peacefully at Wainwright Health Centre at the age of 84 years. Barbara is survived by her loving family; daughters, Sandra (Jerome) Clavelle of Wainwright, AB and Susan (Darren) Kvigstad of Metiskow, AB; grandchildren, Jordan Clavelle of Coaldale, AB, Danika Clavelle of Wainwright, AB, Kaylee (Brandon) Waddell of Edgerton, AB, and Garrett Kvigstad of Czar, AB; great grandchildren, Allie and Lincoln Waddell; cousins, Carol Fletcher, Linda Fletcher, Pat Davison and Glayde Ganderton; as well as extended family and dear friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Allen Higgins; parents Edward & Emma (Wiley) Gehring. A family graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Wainwright Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers and cards, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Edgerton Splash Park in honour of Barbara’s great grandchildren.
