Obituary of Iris Atleen Keinick

Dear sweet friends and family our mom, Mrs. Iris Keinick ran into the arms of her saviour on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the age of 71 years. We swear we could almost hear Angels celebrating and welcoming her home. Oh what a big party they are having! Thank you for all your care, prayers and support. Keep praying for our dad, we are not saying anything to him at this time as we don’t want to compromise his recovery. No funeral arrangements for my mom have been scheduled at this time as we are hoping our dad will be able to say goodbye to the love of his life for 50 years. Thank You again for everything. Iris is survived by her loving husband, Glen; two daughters, Glenda Duchak (Berry Jackson) of Vermilion, Alberta, Terry (Trent) Foster of Innisfail, Alberta; eight grandchildren, Brayden, Jordan and Ashlyn Duchak, Faith, Hailey, Aliah, Adam and Colby Foster; her mother, Ruth (Hans) Wigand of Trochu, Alberta; two brothers, Manfred (Laura) Rist of Brooks, Alberta,Vern (Maria) Rist of Trochu. Iris was predeceased by her father, Henry Rist. Funeral service details are still being organized and will be updated as the information becomes available. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or to STARS.
