I’m sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Alma. But it was good to talk to Raymond today. My best memories of Alma are the several summers I spent with her on the farm. . We used to have so much fun. Saturdays nights in Chauvin and then at the Lloydminster fair. One summer when I was 12 , I decided to ride my bike from Lloydminster to Alma and Oscars place. I made it but Alma was standing out on the highway waiting when I arrived .

Alma lived a good long life. We remember her fondly for her great sense of humour. She was a hard worker and walked a lot which probably added to her long life. Alma & my mother, Johanna Erickson enjoyed many visits on the farm and in Wainwright. God bless her memory. Louise & Bob Shopland, Miriam & Brent Keith West Kelowna

Hi Raymond, I am very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Your mom and dad were good folks. I enjoyed my visits there when I went as a young man when they were still on the farm. I have also enjoyed visiting with you when we have met up in the past years. It is sad when our parents leave no matter what age they are. We will remember you and your family in our prayers. Hi Raymond..Sorry to hear of your Moms passing..Until very recently, your mom always was the first to write and send us a newsy Christmas letter and card.. On the few occasions that we visited Aunt Alma , we enjoyed going for lunch with her and would hear that she was known for being the best walker!! Also enjoyed her stay with us in Dawson Creek, BC..You.ll miss her Raymond..Love from Donna and Frank Breault (nee Ostrom)

Hi Raymond - you will remember me as Marlene McNalley - in fact we were in the same grade. I am saddened to learn of your dear Mother's death but AMAZED to learn she lived to 103!! What a milestone. So nice she had an enjoyable retirement in WWright after having worked hard on the farm. She was a good friend of our Mothers (Audrey McNalley).
