Obituary of Lilly Solveig Erickson

On Wednesday; September 14, 2022, Mrs. Lilly Erickson of Wainwright, Alberta (formerly of Irma, Alberta) passed away peacefully with family by her side, at her home at Points West Living at the age of 93 years. Lilly will be forever loved and remembered by her four children, Dennis (Linda Lou) Erickson, Mel (Laurie Anne) Erickson, Linda (Dave Zarski) Erickson, Carolyn (Kent Miller) Erickson; eight grandchildren Wendy (Dan) Larson, Teena (Ben) Neufeld, Ginger (Corey) Bitzer, Kirby (Heidi) Erickson, Kent (Tausha) Erickson, Jonny (Kelly) Banks, Katrina Banks, Lillena Banks; and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother-in-law John Erickson, three sisters-in-law Della Willerton, Elma Burlingame, Evelyn Laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Lilly was predeceased by her loving husband Ralph Erickson; her only brother Erling Nilson and her parents Sivert and Lena Nilson. A memorial service will be held for Lilly on Saturday; September 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the Wainwright Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Ed Roste officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the Sharon Lutheran Church, CLBI or the Hastings Lake Bible Camp.
