Obituary of Gordon Leslie Sheets

On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, Mr. Gordon Sheets of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at Viking Health Centre, Viking, Alberta at the age of 92 years. Gordon is survived by his loving family; his children, Larry (Brenda) Sheets of Athabasca, Alberta, Cheryl (Allan) Faas of Wainwright, Alberta; grandchildren, Coulton Sheets, Jordan (Austin Stockwell) Sheets, Jessica (Justin) Dance, Kelley (Clint Poliakiwski) Faas; great grand children, Quinn, Payson, and Charlee Dance, Logan and Shelby Faas-Poliakiwski; brother, Don Sheets, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. He is predeceased by his wife, Laurie in 2018; parents Mary & Will Sheets; brothers, Finley, Bert, Stan, Henry; sisters, Laura, Sue, and Bessie. A funeral service for Gordon will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 at Creech’s Funeral Chapel, Wainwright, Alberta at 1:00PM with Reverend Anne McGrath officiating. If so desired, the family suggest any memorial donations be made to the Viking Health Centre.
