Obituary of Siebrigje Veenstra

On Friday, November 11, 2022 Mrs. Siebrigje “Sarah” Veenstra of Points West Living, Wainwright and formerly of Irma, Alberta passed away at her home at the age of 84 years. Sarah is survived by her loving family; three children, Pietje (Brian) Rae of Wainwright, Shirley (Erik Rutherford) Robinson of Wainwright, Keimpe Brad (Treina) Veenstra of Red Deer, Alberta; six grandchildren, Tyler (Joanna) Rae, Dustin (Natalie) Rae, Stephanie (Laird) Bourque, Dexter Robinson, Chase Veenstra, Cassidy Veenstra; eight great grandchildren, Riley, Piper, Ripken, Ellie, Braelynn, Benson, Memphis, Hudson. She was predeceased by her husband, Grietinus “Tom” Veenstra. A private family service for Sarah will be conducted on Friday, November 18, 2022 from Creech’s Funeral Chapel, Wainwright. Interment will follow in the Wainwright Cemetery. If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
