Obituary of Robert Parkins

On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, Mr. Robert “Bob” Parkins of Irma, Alberta, passed away at Wainwright Long Term Care, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 87 years. Bob is survived by his loving family; his wife of 67 years, Marian Parkins of Irma; his children, Roxanne (John) Denhollander of Irma, Richard (Michelle) Parkins of Millbrook, Ontario, Rory Parkins of Peterborough, Ontario, Robert Parkins of Irma; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. He is predeceased by his parents, Florence & Charles Parkins as well as seven siblings. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Food Bank, Salvation Army or to War Amps.
