Obituary of Edith Louise White

On Tuesday, March 21, 2023 Mrs. Edith White of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Ribstone, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright General Hospital at the age of 91 years.

Edith is survived by her loving family; four children, Katherine (Terry) Yendall of Royston, British Columbia, Doug (Dixie Horness) White of Ribstone, Alberta, Gail (Michael) Wright of Ribstone, Lorna (Neil) Veltikold of Lloydminster, Alberta; grandchildren, Jeremy (Diane) Yendall, Kimberly (Felice) Sgambato, Karin (Oscar) Wright-Buck, Kaylan (Sheena) White, Scott White, Steven Veltikold, Evan (Jamie) Yendall, Kelsey (Christopher) Baxter, Lee (Shauntelle) White, Tyler Veltikold, Kristen (Gordon Paulgaard) Veltikold; thirteen great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ken (Sharon) White, sister-in-law, Mildred White.  She was predeceased by her husband, Howard; parents, Walter & Ruth Ryning; three sisters and one brother.

A Funeral service for Edith will be conducted on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Grace United Church, Wainwright at 11:00 AM.  Interment will follow at the Ribstone Cemetery.  If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Battle River Lodge, 429-5^th Aveneue, Wainwright, Alberta, T9W 2R1, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta.
