Dear Darla and Darren ... and the many grandkids and great grandkids that your mom (and dad) were so proud of,
Sincere condolences to all of you with the sad loss of your mom, grandma and great-grandma. Such a heavy time of loss for your families but hopefully you find comfort knowing she is now cozy with your dear dad.
Your mom was truly one of the most special people on earth to me. She was my 2nd mom during my teenage years, my employer for many years at the lovely Fort Gifts, I had the privilege of housesitting your parents' gorgeous home and basking in her creative talents, she was so excited and cheered me on in my interior design pursuits and education when many others had no understanding of it all and for 40 years we exchanged custom Christmas letters & Mrs. Claus photos, joyous phone calls, lively conversations and hugs during all visits. She radiated positivity and saw the good in everyone! Your dad supported all her new adventures and ideas and they both inspired me to shoot for the stars and believe that anything I dreamed up was completely possible! I am forever grateful for her generosity of spirit and for passing along her love of life to all of us.
Thinking of you all today. Sending you much love ... Laurette, Cal & family

Our deepest sympathy to Clarice’s children…Darren & Darla & all the grandchildren & great-grandchildren. She was the best Sister & Friend anyone could ever wish for. She was a “Woman of Faith”. She was kind, generous, loyal, talented & had a great sense of humor. She was also an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, as well as a business woman. She ran her own successful businesses for many years. She “Loved” & “was Loved” by everyone who knew her. She was “my greatest cheerleader” my whole life through and I adored her. She loved our chnildren & grandchildren as if they were her own & always bragged about any talents they might have had. We will all miss her & keep her memory alive by re-living stories of the times we had together. She will now be re-united with her dear Jimmy & they will once again walk hand-in-hand “through the Heavenly Streets of Gold” And so, We say “so-long” for now….knowing we will all see you again one day. We love you dearly. Eileen & Marty & family.

Dear Darla, Darren & your families,
Dennis & I send our condolences & prayers to all of you during this sad time. My memories of Clarice are of a woman filled with the “love of life,” which is a true gift. When I was in Camrose on business, I had gone to her lovely clothing boutique on occasion. She had also invited me to have lunch at their home & naturally, the homemade soup & sandwiches were so delicious. I will always remember special family events that your family invited us to also. Your entire family always went out of their way to make us feel so welcome. Now we can feel the presence of Clarice & Jim reunited in a most loving & peaceful setting.

Darla,
Brenda and I send you and your family our heartfelt condolences wrapped in a big hug. Instant friendship when we first met. Her shop was Mom's first destination whenever they came to visit. That she was also Camrose's Mrs. Claus was icing on the Christmas cookies.
