Obituary of Jessie Sigrid Mary Burton

On Tuesday, April 18, 2023 Mrs. Jessie Burton of Wainwright, Alberta and formerly of Ribstone, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital at the age of 86 years.

She is survived by her four children, Donna (Ron) James of Clear Lake, Alberta, Doug (Sheila) Burton of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Philip Burton of Caroline, Alberta, Linda Myer of Medicine Har, Alberta; seven grandchildren, Michael (Jenni) James, Jason (Lindsay) James, Crystal (Josh Clark) Urquhart, Kala (Devon Wilkes) Myer, Jessica (Mike) Borstmayer, Tina Dzuba, Tammy Jensen; great grandchildren, Brock Dzuba, Diesel Grettum, Freya Borstmayer, Jack Borstmayer; great great grandson, Braxton Dzuba; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  Jessie was predeceased by her husband, Fred; siblings, Jim Arneson, Eva Dorland, Stan Arneson, Mel Arneson, Betty Hassall, Jean Murrell as well as infant brothers, Richard and Ervin.

A Funeral service for Jessie will be conducted on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Community of Christ, Ribstone, Alberta.  Interment will follow in the Ribstone Cemetery.  If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Community of Christ Ribstone or to the Wainwright Auxiliary Patient Comfort Fund.
