Obituary of Ruth Almear Voyer

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, Mrs. Ruth Voyer passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 72 years.

Ruth is survived by her loving family; her husband Hector Voyer of Wainwright; her children, Colleen (Preston Cena) Russell of Westlock, Alberta, Brian (Karen) Voyer of Wainwright,  Brent (Megan) Voyer of Edmonton, Alberta; grandchildren, Jessica (Matt), Eric, Christopher, Tyler, Samantha; great granddaughter, Sierra; great grandson, Oliver; her siblings, Dave (Paulette) Fraser, Malcom (Gail) Fraser, Gina Fraser;  as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, William & Madeline Fraser; siblings, Ruby White, John Fraser, George Fraser, Buck Fraser, and infant brother Brian Fraser.

A Prayer service for Ruth will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 7:00 PM from the Blessed Sacrament Church, Wainwright.  Funeral Mass will be conducted Friday, May 12, 2023, from the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 1:00 PM.  Interment to follow at the Wainwright Cemetery.
