Obituary of Halington Alexander Barss

On Wednesday, May 10, 2023 Mr. Halington Barss or Irma, Alberta passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 64 years.

He is survived by his siblings, Jim (Heather) Barss of Irma, Rita (Garth) Earl of Airdrie, Alberta, Bob (Susan) Barss of Irma, Lyle (Leslie) Barss of Irma, Lynette (Bob) Morus of Oregon, United States, Clarence Barss of Edmonton, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews as well as two aunts, Doreen (Alf Pollard) Schubada of Wainwright, Kathleen Miller of Red Deer, Alberta.  He was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Marjorie Barss; infant brother, Fred Barss; nephew, Trent Barss.

Everyone is invited to Creech's Funeral Home to pay their respects to Hal and enjoy fellowship with the family on Sunday, May 14, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  A Come and Go luncheon in remembrance of Hal will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the New Horizons Hall, Irma.  Interment will take place at a later date in the Irma Cemetery.  If so desired the family suggests memorial contribuitons be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
