Obituary of Arthur Leon Pierce

On Saturday, May 27, 2023 Mr. Art Pierce of Irma, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital, Wainwright, Alberta at the age of 92 years.

Art is survived by his loving family; son, Brent (Ev) Pierce of Okotoks, Alberta; daughter, Nola Dickson of Wainwright; daughters-in-law, Glenda (John) Argue of Marwayne, Alberta, Lily Pierce of Edmonton, Alberta, Valerie (Dewayne McConnell) Pierce of Irma; twelve grandchildren, Brett Pierce, Justin Pierce, Kyle Argue, Tracey Argue-Shirtliffe, Tara Ramsey, Tanille Prasek, Anthony Chimera, Mario Chimera, Clayton Pierce, Tyson Pierce, Becky Pierce, Gavin Dickson and their families; brother, Rick (Marge) Guiltner; sisters-in-law, Faye Pierce, Ev Johnson and Carol (Ron) Prior.  He was predeceased by his wife, Betty; three sons, Leigh, David and Bradley; son in-law, Larry Dickson; brother, Stan Pierce; brother-in-law, Vic Johnson; infant brother William Leonard Pierce.

A Funeral service for Art will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 2:00 PM from the Irma United Church.  Interment will take place at the Irma Cemetery at 12:30 PM prior to the church service, all are welcome to attend.  If so desired the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Irma Cemetery Fund or to the Wainwright Auxiliary Hospital Patient Comfort Fund.
