This took me a bit, but among the many memories I do have with Todd, this is one that my mind keeps coming back too. An old memorie but I am older now. So living in Edmonton on the west end by The Mall with Mom, so yes a long time ago 35 years or so, Todd and I decided to go for a motorbike ride, not sure where we were going but as night was falling and it started too get to dark ride we wound up in Jasper. Completley unprepared for an overnight stay. So one of the top three coldest nites I have spent outside as all we had to sleep in was an old blue tarp. So yes a night in Jasper campsite under a blue tarp no sleeping bag, no sleep pad, no pillow and no coffee in the very early morning chill. So up early, as you can imagine, on the road out of Jasper and we see a little Black Bear Cub eating in the ditch and as we got closer the cub just ran in front of us, we hit this little bear in the ass, I looked back too see him get spun around but still ran away and Todd was racing away because in his words " I sure as hell didnt want too meet Mama Bear". As I say, one of many memories but I keep coming back to this one. I will always miss you Big Brother, and I will always remember sleeping in an old blue tarp.
