Obituary of Scot D. Steele
On Friday, January 20, 2017 Mr. Scot Steele of Wainwright, Alberta passed away at the Wainwright Long Term Care Centre at the age of 94 years.
Scot (James Stanley) was the only son of Elise and James Steele of Edgerton. He married Carel (Marjorie Mailer) in 1941. He is predeceased by his loving wife, plus his son, Norris, and his daughter in law, Jo Anne of Edgerton. Scot is survived by three children, ten grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren:

Scot and Carel, both of Cadogan, lived most of their 70 years together in Edgerton, operating a garage and growing grain east of town. The Edgerton Museum was an vital part of their lives after retirement.
