Obituary of Herman Pfisterer

On behalf of Theresa and the family, we regretfully inform you of the death of their dear husband, father, Opa and friend, Herman. Herman Pfisterer was born August 29, 1938 in Ingolstadt, Germany to Lorenz and Therese Pfisterer. He passed away after a short, but valiant battle with cancer in Wainwright on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Wainwright Hospital - Long Term Care at 78 years of age. Herman will be forever loved and deeply missed by his wife, Theresa Pfisterer; children: Chris (Sherri) Pfisterer, Elenora (Bruce) McCluskey, Stephen (Karen) Pfisterer, Joe Pfisterer; grandchildren: Ryan (Amy) Pfisterer, Paige Pfisterer, Kurt Pfisterer, Derek (Lacey Rinas) Pfisterer, Lisa (Bryce Cooper) McCluskey, Sarah (Cody Woodward) McCluskey, Scott McCluskey, Sydney Pfisterer, Alexz Pfisterer, Brooke Pfisterer, Jazden Pfisterer; great-grandchildren: Rhett Pfisterer, and Austin Pfisterer; as well as his siblings, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Herman was predeceased by his parents, Lorenz and Therese Pfisterer; father-in-law, Josef Hintermeier; and mother-in-law, Mathilde Hintermeier. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, March 16, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Wainwright, Alberta with Father Andrzej Lukaszewicz officiating. Cremation will take place following the service with interment at Wainwright Cemetery at a later date.
