Laura was a classmate of mine, through all 9 years of elementary school at Blessed Sacrament. My enduring memory of her was when she arranged a "fairwell" party for our grade 9 class in the late spring of 1974, as our small cohort who had been together for 9 years was about to leave for a much larger grade 10 class at Wainwright High School. Our cohort "drifted" apart after grade 9, but I remember Laura as a great kid. I'm sure she became a great adult and led a wonderful life. Ron

I have many childhood memories of our friendship Laura. Sleepovers at your house and times at your cabin at Clear Lake. My grandparents lived beside your house, so we always picked up our friendship whenever we returned to Wainwright. We drifted away slowly through our lives and sadly I was too late to reconnect with you. I still think of you and will always remember "my best friend Laura Mae". Fly with the angels.
